At Woodfield Primary School we see the relationship between the school and parents/carers as vital in supporting the development of every child. We offer our parents a range of opportunities to be a part of school life from joining their child in school for lunch to influencing policy and practice.
New for 2019-20: Woodfield Parent Ambassadors
Last year we launched a number of new ambassador roles for our children in school. This means the our children are truly having their say in making their time at Woodfield the best it can be. We are very pleased to say that we are now on the hunt for our first ever Parent Ambassadors. If you are interested in becoming a Parent Ambassador please see Mrs Watson.
Family Learning at Woodfield
We really value the chance to work together with parents to support our children’s learning. We are always keen to be able to offer a number of family learning opportunities in school including Reading Together sessions, Craft Mornings and adult learning courses.
This year we are working in partnership with Adult, Family and Community Learning to offer functional skills courses for our community. Currently we are offering English, Maths and Conversational English courses.
Parent Questionnaire 2018-19
In the Summer term of 2018-19 we asked our parents to complete a questionnaire to help identify ways to further improve our school community. The outcomes of the questionnaire will be published this half term.
