Woodfield Primary Rainbow Connection Choir

On Wednesday 28th June 2017 our award winning school choir were invited to sing in the Atrium at the Doncaster Civic Building.  The children were amazing and “wowed” the audience who were watching from every balcony.

It was a fantastic experience for the choir reflected in the photographs of their performance.  The children were also treated to a museum workshop with an “arts” theme.

Alongside a chromatography workshop and an abstract art session, the children worked together to create a shared painting of Terence Cuneo’s “Giants Refreshed”.  This is one of Doncaster Museums most recent purchases – a powerful painting of the Doncaster Plant Works, by the famous railway artist Terence Cuneo.  I’m sure you will agree, their creation of the shared painting is absolutely stunning.  We are sure Cuneo would have been proud!
